Should I buy a steam vacuum?

I have a dog and he’s 3 but still has accidents in the house sometimes. It has taken a toll on my carpet but I can’t get it replaced just yet. Should I invest in a steam vacuum, if so what brand and do they work well?

they are very poopular right now but for the purpose that you describe it is best to save your money and get a pair of rubber gloves a steam mop will not remove dried stains and your vac will smell if you use it for that purpose. Orkin sells a product that removes pet stains and oder 19.99. if you want to steam your carpet rent a steamer
